This little mare was purchased as a project for my daughter however due to lack of time she is just wasting in the paddock. Betty has been back in work and show prep for a month and has been going well.
She would be best suited as a lead rein or second off lead pony. She can jump, loves games, trail riding and looks great in the show ring. However, she is green.
She has been very successful as a led pony always coming home with the broad sash. She is the ultimate child’s pony on the ground. You can do anything with her. Slide off her bum, stand up on her back, ride her in her rugs. 100% handled by now 12yr old.
She is easy to float, teeth, feet (is barefoot) worm, clip (can do without twitch). Is usually ridden without plugs. Can be lead off a ride on mower, bike, buggy, tractor. Can crack a whip on her and even blow dry her with a motorised blower.
Betty has not had a lot of exposure under saddle. However, She is the quietest pony under lead. Off lead she can become rushed. With time she will get through this however we just don’t have the time to put into her.
Pony club, interschool’s etc. she would be a perfect prospect. She would make a perfect lead rein pony even while exposing her to things she has never seen before.
Betty will come with her wardrobe of rugs, false tail and halter.
